Potete mandare la vostra proposta d’intervento al convegno internazionale MEDIA CHANGE -SERIALIZATION LANDSCAPES: SERIES AND SERIALIZATION FROM LITERATURE TO THE WEB che si terrà dal 7 al 9 luglio 2015 presso l’Università di Urbino Carlo Bo, Polo Didattico Volponi, Via Saffi 15 – 61029 Urbino.
Il convegno è organizzato dal Dipartimento di Scienze della Comunicazione e Discipline Umanistiche dell’Università di Urbino Carlo Bo in collaborazione con l’Institute for Screen Industries Research – University of Nottingham e con la Laurea Magistrale in Cinema, Televisione e Produzione Multimediale dell’Università di Bologna.
La scadenza per l’invio degli abstract è Sabato 28 febbraio 2015.
L’abstract di 300 parole (contenente nome, indirizzo mail, affiliazione e un massimo di 4 parole chiave) va inviato a: info@mediachange.it

I temi del convegno includono:
– la sperimentazione della forma seriale nel cinema, nella televisione, nel teatro, nel fumetto, nella letteratura, nei videogiochi e nei videoclip, nella video art e nella pubblicità;
– la relazione fra la forma seriale e la serialità nel web: blog, tumblr e social network in generale (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, ecc.);
– la serialità televisiva come meccanismo organizzativo dell’ecosistema dell’esperienza narrativa;
– produzione e consumo: forma seriale, metodi produttivi e serialità generata dagli utenti;
– serialità e cinema. Reboot o re-franchise? Capitoli, serie o sequel?
– step e processi della costruzione e della fruizione del prodotto seriale sul web: dalle serie alle web serie.

Output
I paper selezionati e sottoposti a doppio referaggio cieco saranno pubblicati in un numero monografico della rivista Mediascapes Journal.

Call for proposals for the International Conference of Media Change SERIALIZATION LANDSCAPES: SERIES AND SERIALIZATION FROM LITERATURE TO THE WEB three-day conference that will take place from Tuesday 7th to Thursday 9th July 2015 at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, Polo Didattico Volponi, Via Saffi 15 – 61029 Urbino (Italy).

The conference is organised by the Department of Communication Studies and Humanities, University of Urbino Carlo Bo in partnership with the Institute for Screen Industries Research – University of Nottingham and the
Second cycle degree in Cinema, Television and Multimedia Production – University of Bologna.

The deadline for abstracts is Saturday 28th February 2015.

Possible themes include:
– the experimentation of the serial form in cinema, television, theater’s scripts, comics, literature, videogames, videoclips, video art and advertising;
– the relationship between the serial form and the serialization on the web, blogs, tumblr and social networks more in general (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.);
– the television serialization as an organization mechanism of the narrative ecosystem experience;
– production and consumption: serialization form, ways of production and user generated seriality;
– serialization and the movies. Reboot or re-franchise? Chapters, series or sequels?
– steps and processes of the serial product construction and fruition on the web: from series to web series.

Outputs
A dedicated edition of “Mediascapes Journal”, a double blind peer review journal.
